Yarrow Tincture
Yarrow’s scientific name is Achillea millefollium. Achillea because it is said to have been given to Achilles to heal his wounded heel (say that five times fast). Millefollium because they have millions of folia! Plant names can be so interesting!
Yarrow tincture is just plain handy to have around. It is good in tea when you’re feeling a little raw, it is helpful on a cotton ball to soothe a bug bite. Yarrow is anti-infective, anti-microbial, and bitter (bitter taste stimulates digestive action). It is also a mild-diuretic and may help reduce fluid retention and inflammation. Caution - yarrow is a powerful herb, wonderful on cuts and scrapes to promote wound healing but should not be used on an actively bleeding wound. If you have hurt yourself badly, seek medical attention.
1 oz or 2 oz glass dropper bottle
Each item is packaged when ordered. Labels are custom made and designed by me. Please allow up to two weeks for the item to be shipped.
